Hello, Friends!

We are Alli and Morgan - Mill Valley locals, moms and messy art lovers! We became dear friends through our childrens’ preschool and soon discovered that we share a love of creativity, birthday parties, and the possibilities that unfold when kids freely explore art.

Our passion for these joyful, messy experiences led us to realize a shared dream: to create a space where art and play intersect and thrive. In 2024, we opened the Art Barn Mill Valley, a place dedicated to the wonderful world of process art and sensory play for children. We believe that every child deserves a nurturing, playful environment to ignite their imagination and find freedom and joy through art. Come play with us!

xx,

Alli and Morgan

Our Teachers

Kathy Piscioneri

Kathy is an art teacher with 27 years of combined teaching experience in New York and California public and private schools. She brings magic and creativity wherever she goes! She has happily been the Preschool-8th grade art teacher at Marin Horizon School for the last 7 years. In her non-teaching time, Kathy is also an active visual artist creating allegorical landscape paintings in her Woodacre studio and home.

Eva Saull

Eva grew up in Mill Valley, where the natural beauty and strong sense of community sparked a lifelong passion for creativity and the arts. With over 14 years of experience working with young children, she brings a rich background as a Montessori teacher and art instructor.

Eva has guided children in a variety of creative settings, including summer programs, performing arts camps, art museums, and Montessori-based after-school enrichment classes. She has also led collaborative, large-scale art projects for school auctions across multiple age groups. As a published children’s illustrator, Eva finds joy in creating prints, greeting cards, and personalized artwork that delights and inspires.

Currently, Eva serves as the Head Teacher in The Toddler Garden Classroom at Marin Horizon. She is thrilled to bring her experience and passion to The Art Barn—a nurturing space where children are encouraged to explore, create, and connect through art.
